Last week, my friend Maribel and I were able to experience a short getaway from the busy streets of Marrakech into the Agafay desert.
The Agafay desert is located 30 kilometres south of Marrakech, which makes it a convenient excursion if you don’t want to spend too many hours on the roads. The route heading towards the famous Atlas mountains already offers great views. But when we arrived at the Scarabeo Camp, which is a luxury camp in the middle of nowhere, we were mindblown.
